Lorde notes that she's "a princess cut from marble" in a clue for her new "Hunger Games" single.
In addition to serving as sole curator for the upcoming “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1” soundtrack, singer-songwriter Lorde will also provide the album’s first single.
Thursday night, the lead “Royals” artist began teasing the upcoming release.
After first asking her Twitter followers, “when should i start giving you some clues about this new song,” Lorde posted an image that seemingly represents the first clue.
The image features the handwritten message, “I’m a princess cut from marble, smoother than a storm.”
Confirmed as the first line from the song, the message served to get Lorde fans instantly excited for the upcoming single–and the entire soundtrack from which it is cut.
