Maroon 5, Blake Shelton Set for “The Tonight Show”

Network synergy will be the name of the game when NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” returns from its Labor Day hiatus.

Per a press release, the iconic late night series will make room for appearances from two “The Voice” coaches next week.

The Tuesday, September 2 edition of “Tonight” will feature an interview with “Voice” regular Adam Levine. Following host Jimmy Fallon’s interview with Meredith Vieira, Levine will then take the stage with his band Maroon 5.

Levine’s fellow coach Blake Shelton will appear on the following night’s episode. Like the Maroon 5 frontman, Shelton will sit down for an interview with Fallon before taking the stage for a musical number. Tim and Eric will also appear on the episode.

NBC’s latest “Tonight Show” listings:

Monday, September 1: Guests include Clint Eastwood, Jack White and musical guest Jack White. (OAD 06/09/14).

Tuesday, September 2: Guests include Adam Levine, Meredith Vieira and musical guest Maroon 5. Show 0115.

Wednesday, September 3: Guests include Blake Shelton, Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim and musical guest Blake Shelton. Sheila E. sits-in with The Roots. Show 0116.
