Taylor Swift Confirms Yahoo! Live Stream for August 18

Taylor Swift has officially confirmed what was made obvious by her third social media clue: she is doing a Yahoo! Live Stream on August 18.

She will go live at 5PM ET on that date.

While her announcement does not make any promises, all indications are that it will feature the premiere of her new single. That single, which is due to receive the live performance treatment at the August 24 MTV Video Music Awards, will begin the build to the fall release of her fifth studio album.

Taylor had hinted at the Yahoo! event through a series of hints. She first revealed the August 18 date by pressing the “18” button on an elevator. She then confirmed the 5PM time by posting a screenshot of her phone’s lock screen with “5:00” in the clock section.

The Yahoo! portion was revealed in her third clue.
