Echosmith’s “Cool Kids” Goes Top 30 at Pop, Kiesza Hits #25

Quickly establishing itself as a legitimate hit, Echosmith’s “Cool Kids” rises to #30 on today’s edition of the Mediabase rolling airplay chart for pop radio.

The 30th-most-played song over the past seven days, “Cool Kids” commanded 1,739 pop radio spins and an audience of 8.41 million impressions. Its weekly spin count tops that of last week by 258.

“Cool Kids,” which is also in the Top 30 on iTunes’ single sales chart, is working towards the Top 20 on Hot AC radio. The recipient of iHeartRadio’s “On the Verge” boost at Hot AC, the song is #22 on that format.

Other notable moves on the latest edition of the pop airplay chart:

— Charli XCX’s “Boom Clap” hits a new high of #9.

— Kiesza’s “Hideaway” reaches #25 with an impressive weekly spin gain of 714.
