“Fargo” Returns for Season 2 With New Story, Characters

FX announced Monday that Emmy-nominated series “Fargo” will return for a second season this fall.

Like fellow FX series “American Horror Story,” the series will introduce a new storyline in a new time period with new characters when the show returns for its next season. Unlike “AHS,” it appears “Fargo” will not rely on recurring cast members.

“The new chapter of the Fargo story will feature an all-new cast of characters, a new time period and a new “true crime” story that will unfold over the course of 10 episodes,” says FX of the second “Fargo” season.

The critically acclaimed first “Fargo” season was nominated for eighteen Emmys.
