Meghan Trainor's "All About That Bass" and Ed Sheeran's "Don't" hit the Top 40 at pop radio. Rita Ora, meanwhile, reaches the Top 25 with two songs.

The top 40 of Mediabase’s pop radio airplay chart officially welcomes two new songs this week.

Aided by sizable airplay increases–and by Mediabase’s removal of Justin Timberlake’s declining “Not a Bad Thing” and MKTO’s free-falling “Classic” from its “current” chart–Meghan Trainor’s “All About That Bass” and Ed Sheeran’s “Don’t” debut in the weekly top 40.

Trainor’s buzzworthy “Bass,” which remains in the Top 20 on iTunes, was pop radio’s 39th-most-played song for the seven days ending July 19. It garnered 875 spins and 3.90 million audience impressions over that period.

Sheeran’s “Don’t,” which did not even officially impact radio until this past week, reaches #40 on the strength of 870 spins. Played slightly less than Trainor’s song, it nonetheless commanded a larger audience. Mediabase says the song received 5.53 million audience impressions between July 13 and July 19.

— Songs making waves just beneath the Top 40 include 5 Seconds of Summer’s #42 “Amnesia” (748 spins, +547), Steve Aoki, Chris Lake and Tujamo’s #44 “Delirious (Boneless) featuring Kid Ink” (593 spins, +235) and Fifth Harmony’s #47 “Bo$$” (426 spins, +270).

— Nico and Vinz’ “Am I Wrong” reigns at #1 for a second consecutive week. That reign will end this coming week when MAGIC!’s runner-up “Rude” takes over the number one position.

— Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me” debuts in the Top 5 at #5.

— Demi Lovato’s “Really Don’t Care (featuring Cher Lloyd)” reaches a new peak of #10. Charli XCX’s #11 “Boom Clap” will soon leapfrog “Don’t Care” to make a Top 10 run of its own.

— Despite losing airplay week-to-week, KONGOS’ “Come With Me Now” hits a new high of #13.

— Sia’s “Chandelier” leaps into the Top 15 at #15.

— Ariana Grande’s “Break Free (featuring Zedd)” enters the Top 20 at #17.

— Afrojack’s “Ten Feet Tall (featuring Wrabel)” goes Top 20 as well. It reaches a new peak of #19 this week. Tiesto’s fellow EDM offering “Wasted (featuring Matthew Koma)” hits a new peak of #20.

— Iggy Azalea’s “Black Widow (featuring Rita Ora)” surges into the Top 25 at #23.

— Rita Ora’s “I Will Never Let You Down” hits a new peak of #25.
