FOX’s “I Wanna Marry ‘Harry'” Bombs in the Ratings

Update: “I Wanna Marry ‘Harry'” flopped with a 0.7 adults 18-49 rating with 2.05 million viewers Tuesday. The “American Idol” finale, which provided lead-in support, also failed to impress with just a 1.7 adults 18-49 rating and 6.61 million viewers.

A group of beautiful women might want to marry “Harry,” but few viewers are interested in watching them court the imposter’s affection.

Tuesday’s series premiere of “I Wanna Marry ‘Harry'” bombed in the ratings with a paltry 1.5 overnight household rating. An abysmal number by any standard, it is particularly troubling given the decline from the show’s “American Idol” lead-in.

That show, which aired its one hour performance finale Tuesday, posted a 4.7.

This marks the second Tuesday at 9PM flop in two weeks for FOX. Last week, improv comedy show “Riot” delivered an even bleaker 1.1 household rating.
