Kendall Jenner Responds to Billboard Awards, 5SOS Mistake

One of the most talked about moments at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards did not even involve a musician.

It instead centered on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star Kendall Jenner, who failed to successfully introduce performing act 5 Seconds of Summer.

After visibly struggling to get through her lines, Kendall Jenner attempted to jump directly to the introduction. Unfortunately, she began to welcome “One…” (as in, 5SOS tourmates One Direction) before realizing she was thinking of the wrong boy band.

“I’m the worst reader,” noted the model and reality TV personality.

Aware that the gaffe was a talking point for viewers, Jenner Tweeted, “Anndddd as if I wasn’t nervous already!!!! #NeverLeavinMyContactsAtHomeAgain! #LOL #LessonLearned.”

She also shared an Instagram video of Scott “Lord” Disick parodying Jenner’s teleprompter woes. (Update: While Jenner is still linking to the Instagram post on Twitter, the video itself appears to have been removed)
