Katy Perry, Kacey Musgraves “Crossroads” to Also Air on MTV

Already confirmed for a June 13 broadcast on CMT, the Katy Perry-Kacey Musgraves edition of the network’s “Crossroads” will, in a first for the series, also receive airtime on VH1, MTV, MTV Hits and Palladia.

“Crossroads” will make its CMT premiere at 10PM on June 13. The network has not yet announced dates for the planned off-network telecasts.

Taped last month, the 50th edition of “Crossroads” features the tour mates collaborating on their signature solo tunes.

Singer-songwriter Kacey Musgraves adds her authentic country flavor to Perry hits like “Roar” and “Teenage Dream,” while Katy Perry introduces a pop approach to Musgraves’ biggest songs, including the Grammy-winning “Merry Go Round” and empowerment anthem “Follow Your Arrow.”

“During the one-hour program, the two stars will swap lyrics and anecdotes,” says CMT of the upcoming broadcast.
