American Authors’ “Believer” Hits Top 40 Radio on June 10

The song that thrust American Authors onto the alternative radar could be the one that keeps the band’s momentum alive at pop.

Republic announced this week that “Believer” will impact Top 40 radio on June 10 as the follow-up to smash “Best Day of My Life.”

Launched as the band’s debut single in late 2012, “Believer” garnered support from influential radio programmers, including those behind Sirius XM’s Alt Nation. Eventually a strong player on the station’s popular Alt 18 countdown, “Believer” put American Authors on the map and thus paved the way for its blockbuster success with follow-up “Best Day of My Life.”

Now that “Best Day,” which established American Authors as a crossover name, has peaked at Top 40, “Believer” will get a renewed chance at entering the mainstream spotlight.
