“The Blacklist” Gets Post-Super Bowl Slot, Moving to Thursdays

When the 2014-15 television season begins, NBC’s successful drama launch “The Blacklist” will remain in its post-“The Voice” slot on Monday nights.

When the season comes to an end, it will be in its new home on Thursday nights.

NBC announced Sunday that after a fall run in its usual slot (through November 10), the James Spader vehicle will be relocated to 9PM on Thursday nights. There, it will represent NBC’s attempt to restore eyeballs to the night it once dominated.

Before its Thursday night debut on February 5, “The Blacklist” will also receive the coveted post-Super Bowl slot on February 1.
