MTV’s “Faking It” Ratings Slip in Week Two

After getting off to a modest start last week, MTV’s new series “Faking It” endured a ratings setback for episode two.

Down from last week’s 0.5 adults 18-49 rating with 1.17 million viewers, this week’s edition settled for a 0.4 rating with 859,000 viewers.

Unhelpful was the fact that veteran lead-in “Awkward” also declined in the ratings. With a 0.5 rating and 1.02 million viewers, this week’s “Awkward” was down by 17% in the adults 18-49 demo and 18% in total viewers from the previous broadcast.
