Autopsy: The Ultimate Warrior Died from a Massive Heart Attack

According to TMZ, the preliminary autopsy conducted on Ultimate Warrior, formerly Jim Hellwig, reveals that the WWE Hall of Famer died of a massive heart attack.

Details beyond confirmation of the heart attack and attribution to Atherosclerotic/Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease are presently unavailable.

In the wake of a momentous career weekend, in which he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, appeared at the 30th WrestleMania and delivered a promo on the live Monday Night RAW broadcast, the 54-year-old Warrior clutched his chest and collapsed at an Arizona hotel last Tuesday.

He was transported to the hospital but never regained consciousness and was pronounced dead.

The iconic wrestler is survived by his wife and two daughters.
