More News On Ultimate Warrior’s Death; No Evidence of Drugs or Alcohol

Specifics on what led to the shocking death of pro wrestling icon The Ultimate Warrior will not become clear until an autopsy is performed Thursday, but broader perspectives are slowly emerging.

In an updated report Wednesday, TMZ noted that Warrior, born Jim Hellwig, “clutched his chest” prior to collapsing at an Arizona hotel.

The WWE Hall of famer and his wife were walking towards their car when what authorities are calling a “catastrophic medical event” caused him to collapse. He never recovered and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

As of press time, authorities have found no evidence to suggest drugs or alcohol caused the death.

Warrior, who is survived by his wife and daughters, had spent the weekend making his first WWE television appearances in more than a decade.
