Pharrell’s “Happy” Scores Third Week at Number One

His album “G I R L” might have been forced to settle for number two on this week’s Billboard 200, but his red-hot single “Happy” bows to no other track. It reigns over the Hot 100 for a third consecutive week.

The hottest gainer for digital sales, airplay and streaming, “Happy” stays comfortably ahead of Katy Perry’s “Dark Horse (featuring Juicy J).” After spending four weeks at number one, “Horse” now spends a third consecutive week at number two.

John Legend’s “All of Me” rises to a new peak of #3 this week, while Jason DeRulo’s “Talk Dirty (featuring 2 Chainz)” dips back to number four. Bastille’s “Pompeii” holds at five.

Also staying put are Lorde’s “Team” (#6), Beyonce’s “Drunk in Love (featuring Jay-Z)” (#7) and OneRepublic’s “Counting Stars” (#8). Idina Menzel’s “Let it Go” rises to number nine on the heels of its Oscar victory, while Pitbull’s “Timber (featuring Ke$ha)” remains number ten.
