Luke Bryan Leads Album Sales Race; Aloe Blacc to Sell 40-45K

The album sales race between Luke Bryan and Aloe Blacc is no longer a tight one.

According to Hits Daily Double, the country singer’s “Spring Break 6” EP will rank as the week’s hottest debut album by a considerable margin. At press time, it was pacing to sell 65-70,000 copies in its inaugural week.

Estimates for Aloe Blacc’s “Lift Your Spirit” have been revised down to 40-45,000.

Certain to reign as the week’s best new release, “Spring Break 6” will contend with the “Frozen” soundtrack to rank as the week’s overall top seller.

Other notable releases include 311’s “Stereolithic” (projected for 35-40,000) Young Money’s “Rise of an Empire” (30-35,000) and Ledisi’s “The Truth” (14-17,000).
