Update: Lady Gaga, Lil Wayne Added to “Jimmy Kimmel Live”

Update: Jimmy Kimmel’s broadcasts from the SXSW conference in Austin, Texas will be far more high-profile than initially advertised.

ABC announced Monday that Lady Gaga and Lil Wayne will appear on episodes of this week’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

Gaga joins the Thursday episode, for which “Scandal” actress Darby Stanchfield and musical guest The Preatures had already been confirmed.

Lil Wayne, meanwhile, enters as the lead interview guest on Friday’s edition. Fellow guests Willie Nelson and Los Lonely Boys were announced last week.

Demonstrating its proximity to the pulse, ABC’s talk show “Jimmy Kimmel Live” will spend the coming week in Austin, Texas for SXSW.

Naturally, that means all of its weekly broadcasts will play host to notable interviewees and intriguing musical guests.

Celebrities and acts confirmed for the five original “Kimmel” episodes, which broadcast from The Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long Center for the Performing Arts, include Seth Rogen, Snoop Dogg, Rosario Dawson, Darby Stanchfield, White Denim and Aloe Blacc.
