Jake Bugg, James Franco Added to “The Tonight Show”

For a talk show that is still trying to make an impact, NBC is being very methodical about announcing upcoming guest lists.

As of press time, the network’s confirmed lineup for “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” only extends through March 14, 2014. Given the network’s need to maximize hype, one would assume NBC would want its lineups confirmed and announced weeks in advance.

But the limited scope of NBC’s upcoming “The Tonight Show” lineup does not mean it fails to pack a punch. Next week’s lineup includes names like Demi Lovato, Tyler Perry, Shailene Woodley and Beck.

Most recently added to the parade of guests are interviewee James Franco and musical guest Jake Bugg. Both will appear on the Friday, March 14 edition of “Tonight.”

NBC’s confirmed “Tonight Show” listings follow:

Friday, March 7: Guests include Stephen Colbert, Keri Russell and musical guest Broken Bells. Show 0015

Monday, March 10: Guests include Kristen Bell, Steve Harvey and musical guest Demi Lovato. Show 0016

Tuesday, March 11: Guests include Tyler Perry, Billy Eichner and musical guest Juanes with The Roots. Show 0017

Wednesday, March 12: Guests include Shailene Woodley, Artie Lange and musical guest Beck. Show 0018

Thursday, March 13: Guests include Julianna Margulies, Patton Oswalt and Nate Bargatze. Show 0019

Friday, March 14: Guests include James Franco, Andy Cohen and musical guest Jake Bugg. Show 0020
