“American Idol” Eliminates Emily Piriz, Competition Down to 11

On Wednesday night, “American Idol” hopeful Emily Piriz sang judge Jennifer Lopez’ “Let’s Get Loud.”

Her supporters were unfortunately not loud enough. Piriz was revealed as the week’s lowest-vote getter.

And insofar as the judges opted not to use their sole save on the contestant, Piriz is the second finalist to be eliminated from the competition.

MK Nobilette and Jena Irene joined Piriz in the weekly bottom three.

In addition to Nobilette and Irene, contestants Alex Preston, Jessica Meuse, Dexter Roberts, Caleb Johnson, CJ Harris, Sam Woolf, Malaya Watson, Ben Briley and Majesty Rose comprise the final eleven.
