Lea Michele’s “Louder” Album Sales Pacing for 50-55K

Lea Michele will neither debut as a chart monster nor lead the Billboard 200, but she will set a new high mark for a “Glee” alumnus’ release.

According to Hits Daily Double, her “Louder” is pacing for a debut tally in the 50-55,000 range. Broader in its projection, Billboard believes it will move between fifty and sixty thousand tcopies his week.

Enough for a top ten on next week’s Billboard 200, the total will be the third best for a newcomer. Rick Ross’ “Mastermind” will lead with 145-160,000 in sales, while Pharrell’s “G I R L” will follow with an extremely disappointing 85-95,000.

Previous “Glee” alumni releases included Matthew Morrison’s “Matthew Morrison” (#24 on the Billboard 200) and Mark Salling’s “Pipe Dreams” (#189).
