Lena Dunham, The National Set for “Saturday Night Live”

Adhering to its trend of announcing only one “Saturday Night Live” host-musical guest tandem at a time, NBC has finally confirmed the visitors for the March 8 edition of its iconic variety series.

Handling hosting duties for the March 8 episode will be “Girls” star Lena Dunham. It will be Dunham’s first stint as host.

The National will serve as the musical guest. The Grammy-nominated band will also be making its debut on the show.

“SNL” returns from hiatus this weekend with host Jim Parsons and musical guest Beck.
