In a press release announcing its Fanfront event, FOX confirmed that one “American Idol” finalist would perform. Those wondering how FOX would be able to showcase only one finalist without exposing a bias got their answer Monday–the performer was the recently eliminated Jessica Meuse.
Meuse, who placed fourth in the thirteenth “American Idol” competition, performed at the public element of FOX’s annual upfront presentation. “Glee” star Darren Criss also performed at the “Fanfront” event.
As part of its publicity drive, FOX shared high-resolution photos from the 2014 Fanfront. In addition to the aforementioned Meuse and Criss, the photos also include red carpet shots of network stars Nicole Beharie, Mindy Kaling, Chris Messina and Zooey Deschanel.
