First Look: “Glee” Creates “Frenemies” in Spring Premiere

Tantalized by aggressive promotion and endless speculation, spoilers and rumors, the most hardcore of “Glee” fans are already focusing on the upcoming 100th episode.

But FOX’s musical comedy must make several stops ahead of that destination, and the first comes on February 25, 2014.

That night plays host to “Frenemies,” the show’s spring premiere episode.

Per FOX’s official description:

Santana auditions and snags the role of Rachel’s understudy in “Funny Girl,” causing a feud between the roommates. Meanwhile, back in Lima, Tina and Artie compete against each other to be the class valedictorian in the all-new “Frenemies” episode of GLEE airing on Tuesday, Feb. 25 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (GLE-509)

The episode, the first “Glee” to air on a Tuesday since season three, begins a journey that will not only include the 100th episode but also result in the show shifting full-time focus to the New York City setting.

In advance of the episode, FOX released several promotional stills.
