Netflix to Construct a Third “House of Cards” Season

The “House” will stay standing for at least another season.

Omitting specifics like the premiere date and episode count, a representative from Netflix told THR confirmed that the provider has ordered a third season of “House of Cards.”

The news comes ten days before the Kevin Spacey vehicle premieres its second season on the streaming service.

Those thirteen episodes, beginning February 14, aim to garner the same buzz and awards recognition as the original season. In addition to putting Netflix’s original programming division on the map, season one of “House of Cards” also garnered key Emmy and Golden Globe nominations.
