Billy Crystal Ends Leno’s “Tonight Show,” Will Smith Starts Fallon’s Run

The first guest on Jay Leno’s version of “The Tonight Show” will also be its last.

NBC announced Sunday that Billy Crystal, whom Leno interviewed in his May 25, 1992 “The Tonight Show” debut, will appear on the host’s February 6, 2014 farewell episode.

Country music icon Garth Brooks will perform.

On February 17, Jimmy Fallon, Leno’s guest on the February 3 edition of “Tonight,” will debut as the new host of the iconic late night series. The episode will feature visits from entertainment superstar Will Smith and musical act U2.
