NBC’s Golden Globes Awards Overnight Ratings Hit 7-Year High

How the telecast fared with the adults 18-49 demographic remains to be seen, but the 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards ceremony definitely drew an audience.

According to an NBC press release, Sunday’s broadcast drew a 14.1 overnight metered market rating. Up 8% from last year’s 13.1, the number was the highest since the 2007 broadcast drew a 16.0 on Monday, January 15.

Following rave reviews for last year’s performance, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler reprised their co-hosting roles.
