Bastille, Jonah Hill Confirmed for “Saturday Night Live”

January is shaping up to be a big one for English rock band Bastille.

As of Monday, breakthrough single “Pompeii,” which is starting to dominate Top 40 radio after an impressive run on the alternative circuit, is now a top ten seller on iTunes.

And on January 25, the band will make its debut on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live.”

The Peacock confirmed Bastille for the episode in a press release Monday. Jonah Hill, whose “The Wolf of Wall Street” is generating buzz in theaters, will serve as the episode’s guest host.

NBC had already announced Drake as its host and musical guest for the January 18 show.
