WWE Advertising Confirms Batista’s Return, WrestleMania Update

If local Las Vegas advertising is to be believed, Dave “Batista” Bautista will indeed be part of this year’s WWE WrestleMania 30 campaign.

Batista, one of the major names rumored for a return at this year’s show, is being advertised for a “return” at WWE’s February house show in Las Vegas, NV.

“WWE’s Road to Wrestlemania will make a stop at Las Vegas’ Thomas and Mack Center on Sunday, February 16,” reads a note on the UNLV Tickets website. “Don’t miss your favorite WWE Superstars including: CM Punk, The Shield, Big Show, Kane, the WWE Divas and much more! Plus, see the special return of “The Animal” Batista, LIVE!”

According to mixed martial arts reporter Jeremy Botter, local radio advertising is making the same claim about Batista’s plans for February 16.

Given the show’s proximity to WrestleMania–and the significant unlikelihood that WWE would book Batista for a one-off house show in February 2014–it appears safe to conclude that “The Animal” will be participating in a healthy portion of “WrestleMania season.”

WWE WrestleMania 30 takes place in New Orleans, LA on April 6, 2014.
