“The Sing-Off” Ratings Fall, Show Still Beats “The X Factor”

Night two of “The Sing-Off” predictably failed to match the premiere night ratings, but NBC can still tout a victory over FOX’s rival music competition series “The X Factor.”

Airing opposite “Factor” from 8-10PM, “Sing” delivered a 1.8 adults 18-49 rating with 5.92 million viewers. Despite airing its semifinals performance show and receiving significant buzz from the success of Alex & Sierra’s “Say Something” cover, “The X Factor” settled with an even 1.4 rating and 4.89 million viewers.

NBC followed “The Sing-Off” with its “Kelly Clarkson’s Cautionary Christmas Music Tale” special. The hourlong broadcast drew a 1.4 with 5.33 million.
