Breaking News: Paul Walker, 40, Dies After Car Crash, Explosion

TMZ reported Saturday that Paul Walker, best known for his work in the blockbuster “The Fast & The Furious” franchise, died in a car accident.

According to the report, Walker was traveling in a Porsche when the unidentified driver lost control and veered into a tree. The car proceeded to burst into flames, ultimately killing the actor and another individual.

TMZ added, “Sources close to Paul tell us he was in Santa Clarita for a car show to support the Philippines typhoon relief effort, and had been taking friends out for rides in his new Porsche GT. The accident happened during one of those test spins.”

Prior to reaching new heights with the “Fast” franchise, Walker had appeared in films like “Varsity Blues” and “She’s All That.”
