So to make waves at the 2013 American Music Awards, Miley Cyrus did what anyone would do in her shoes: she performed “Wrecking Ball” with accompaniment from a digital kitten.
While Cyrus sang her heart out in a skimpy, cat-themed number on stage, a digitized kitten mouthed and gestured along with the performance on the jumbo backdrop. So enamored with the visual was the ABC broadcast that it forwent an opportunity to pan the crowd and surely pick up a healthy heaping of confused celebrity faces.
