Justin Bieber’s “All Bad” Tops iTunes, “Counting Stars” Makes Climb

For Justin Bieber, the lack of another promotional Lady Gaga single is not “All Bad.”

After consecutive weeks of losing the Monday digital sales race to Gaga, whose “ARTPOP” releases Tuesday, Bieber has finally launched a “Music Mondays” song to the top of the iTunes Single Sales chart.

“All Bad,” that song, slipped past Eminem’s ongoing leader “The Monster” to claim a number one sales position Monday.

Given the front-loaded nature of Bieber’s “Music Mondays” songs and the lasting strength of the Eminem track, that stint at the chart’s apex will be short lived. But, for now, Bieber is in control of the iTunes chart.

Also making waves is OneRepubic’s “Counting Stars.” The latest proof that one should never count out Ryan Tedder and company, the song, which has entered the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100, pushed itself to number three on the iTunes sales charts this weekend. Only Eminem’s “The Monster” and Lorde’s “Royals” were selling better.

Knocked down to number four following the release of Bieber’s new single, “Stars” is still performing very well and easily making up for the disappointment of predecessor “If I Lose Myself.”
