He’s a Money in the Bank winner who successfully cashed in his briefcase to win the WWE Championship. And he will be back in action at this year’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view.
WWE confirmed Sunday that Rob Van Dam will return to action at the show on July 14. Save for an appearance at Royal Rumble, Money in the Bank will host his first in-ring performance for WWE in six years.
WWE has not yet revealed the capacity of RVD’s involvement; a WWE.com article teased potential matches with CM Punk, Ryback or one of the actual Money in the Bank bouts as top candidates.
