The Voice Ends Blake’s Streak, Eliminates Holly Tucker Before Semifinals

Team Blake Shelton’s streak has finally come to an end.

For the first time since Top 16 week, a member of Team Blake was sent packing on “The Voice,” in the process enabling Team Adam Levine, Team Usher and Team Shakira to each have a representative in next week’s live semifinals.

Holly Tucker, that departing contestant, left predictably after failing to connect on either of Monday’s performances. Her “My Wish” and “When God-Fearin’ Women Get the Blues” ranked considerably below efforts from the other five acts on iTunes, which forecast Tuesday’s elimination.

Acts advancing to next week’s “The Voice” semifinals are Michelle Chamuel (Team Usher), Sasha Allen (Team Shakira), Amber Carrington (Team Adam), Danielle Bradbery (Team Blake) and The Swon Brothers (Team Blake).
