“Touch” is Cancelled, But FOX’s “24” Could Be Making Return, Says Report

There is a silver lining in Thursday’s report that FOX cancelled Kiefer Sutherland-starrer “Touch”–the network is reportedly considering bringing back “24” for a limited run.

According to Deadline, longtime showrunner Howard Gordon, who currently serves as an executive producer on “Homeland,” pitched the idea to bring “24” back as a “limited series” on FOX.

He would return as EP, while Sutherland is in talks to reprise his iconic Jack Bauer role.

“24,” which ended after eight seasons, had long been at the center of movie rumors, but a feature effort ultimately never materialized.
