Despite rumors to the contrary, the Bella Twins’ conspicuous absence from Monday’s WWE RAW was not due to any sort of incident or heat with WWE officials.
Rather, the duo was present at the E! Network upfront to promote WWE’s new “Total Divas” reality series on the cable network. They are expected to be positioned as the “stars” of the new show.
The series, which launches this summer, follows the Bellas, the Funkadactyls, Natalya and newcomers Eva Marie and Jo-Jo Offerman as they work through their WWE careers. A version of this project was originally eyed for the WWE Network.
