“The X Factor” Parts Ways with Another Season Two Talent

Having previously confirmed that Antonio “LA” Reid and Britney Spears would not be back to judge on round three, “The X Factor” now reveals that it will part ways with one of its hosts.

Khloe Kardashian-Odom, who joined Mario Lopez in replacing original host Steve Jones, will exit the show ahead of its third season, leaving Lopez as the reality competition’s sole emcee.

“Khloe Kardashian will not be returning to co-host The X Factor,” said producers in a statement. “We really enjoyed working with her and wish her all the best in her future endeavors.”

Lopez and judges Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato are the only surviving members of the show’s second season, continuing the show’s trend of greatly changing its cast after each season.

Ahead of season two, “X Factor” parted ways with original host Jones and judges Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul from the program.
