Big E Langston Makes WrestleMania Debut Against Team Hell No; WM29 Results

The first two WWE WrestleMania 29 pay-per-view bouts fell in favor of the heels. Will that streak continue?

If so, Big E Langston and Dolph Ziggler, accompanied by AJ Lee, will grab the WWE Tag Team Championships from Daniel Bryan and Kane.

WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No vs. Big E & Ziggy
WWE teases a recreation of last year’s WrestleMania opener. As the bell rings, AJ gets on the apron to kiss Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler turns around into a high kick from Daniel Bryan, but unlike Sheamus, Bryan can only muster a two-count. He nonetheless continues the offense on Ziggler, bringing the #Heel to the outside.

The action comes back in the ring, and Ziggler tags Langston into the match. Bryan brings Kane in to counter the powerlifter.

Langston brings aggressive offense to Kane, showcasing his strength with some big slams and knockdowns.

After some more dominance, Langston brings Ziggler back into the match, but Kane is able to claim back some momentum against the smaller opponent. Sidewalk slam.

Kane goes for an attack off the top, but Ziggler dodges and then goes for a FamASSer. He misses, but he still stays on Kane and works for a pinfall. Bryan breaks the hold.

Kane takes advantage of the opportunity to work over Ziggler, but his pin is then broken by Langston. Langston sets Kane up for his finisher, but Kane breaks out and tosses Big E to the outside. Bryan follows up with a knee off the apron, knocking Big E to the outside mat.

As Kane focuses on the outside of the ring, Ziggler connects with ZigZag. Two-count for Ziggler. AJ then grabs the briefcase, hands it to Dolph, and distracts the ref. He attempts to assault Kane with the case, but Kane dodges it, and then chokeslams Ziggler.

Kane tags Bryan into the match, kicks a recovering Big E to keep him from interfering, and Bryan connects with the flying headbutt. Three-count.

Note: The bell seemed to ring a split-second before the referee actually counted three.
