MTV’s “The Real World” Ratings Improve After Dismal Premiere

MTV’s “The Real World: Portland” premiered to very weak ratings last week, but solace can be taken in the fact that its audience did not shrink in week two.

In fact, the show gained viewers, moving to a 0.6 adults 18-49 rating with 959,000 viewers.

Though not an impressive total by any stretch of the imagination, the gain to a more-respectable young adults number is certainly welcome at the cable network.
