“Reno 911” Star Joins Joins Sean Hayes in New NBC Pilot

Deadline reported Monday that “Reno 911” star Thomas Lennon will join a comedy pilot at NBC.

The multi-camera half-hour, which was written by Victor Fresco, stars Sean Hayes as a man who must learn how to parent the 14-year-old daughter who just moved in while juggling the challenge of a difficult new boss at work.

Lennon will play the boss, described as a blunt and unlikable character.

While Deadline lists the pilot as “untitled,” its sister website TV Line says it is tentatively listed as “Happiness.”
