NBC’s “Do No Harm” Premieres to Weak Ratings

Another launch in NBC’s Thursday at 10PM timeslot, another disappointment.

Update: “Do No Harm” attracted 3.13 million viewers and a mere 0.9 adults 18-49 rating. This was a disastrous premiere.

New drama “Do No Harm” opened very slowly Thursday night, delivering a mere 2.4 in the overnight metered market ratings. While the critical adults 18-49 demo and total viewership numbers are not yet available, the overnights suggest a high improbability that the series did well in either.

“The Office,” which led into “Do No Harm,” delivered a 3.3 at 9PM and a 3.1 at 9:30. While that reveals passable lead-in retention for “Harm,” the adults 18-49 gap between the two shows is likely greater–and likely great enough to already put the new series’ survival in jeopardy.
