The Rock Advertised for Elimination Chamber, Latest Details on his Role

The Rock is one of six WWE Superstars featured on advertising for the upcoming Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, which seemingly confirms rumors that he will be performing on the show.

Rock, who makes his return to WWE pay-per-view at the Royal Rumble in an expected match against WWE Champion CM Punk, will be working with WWE on a fairly regular basis until a bout at WrestleMania.

Reports for the near-entirety of the year have suggested that will be a rematch with John Cena. This time, the stakes will likely include the championship.

Each of the three previous Elimination Chamber PPVs has featured two matches contested under the Chamber gimmicks. In 2011, one was for the World Heavyweight title while the other was for the right to compete for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania. In 2010 and 2012, both matches were for the title belts.
