Ratings Party Already Over for “Malibu Country,” “Shark Tank,” “Grimm” Lead Night

Just three weeks into its run, and “Malibu Country” has already turned away all signs of being a strong addition to ABC’s Friday lineup.

It is still competitive by the heavily-reduced Friday standards, but with just a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating and 6.7 million viewers this week, it can no longer be mistaken for a hit.

“Last Man Standing,” its lead-in, delivered a 1.4 rating with 7.1 million viewers. Collectively, both landed behind CBS’ hourlong “Undercover Boss” (1.6, 9.0 million).

ABC took over the lead at 9PM by way of its still-impressive “Shark Tank.” That reality series net a 1.9 with 6.7 million. “Grimm,” which aired for NBC at 9, posted a 1.6 with 5.0 million viewers to be the night’s top scripted series in the demo.

CBS’ “We Will Always Love You” scored a 1.4 with 7.2 million to win 10PM.
