President Barack Obama Issues First Response to 2012 Election Victory

Update: Romney conceded the 2012 election just prior to 1AM ET.

In the period leading up to President Barack Obama similarly has not yet delivered an official victory speech.

But no matter how one breaks it down, it appears pretty certain that Obama will reign as the winner of the 2012 election and the owner of four more years in the White House.

Shortly following the official call, Obama Tweeted, “We’re all in this together. That’s how we campaigned, and that’s who we are. Thank you. -bo.”

That account, managed by his staff, also noted, “This happened because of you. Thank you.”
