President Barack Obama Defeats Mitt Romney; 2012 Election Results

Headline Planet can now call the 2012 Presidential Election for incumbent democratic candidate Barack Obama.

A firm read on the popular vote is not yet available, but per Barack’s projected victory in Ohio, he now has at least 274 secured electoral votes. Only 270 are required for election.

That will give Obama and incumbent Vice President Joe Biden the victory, as had been long expected even as national popular vote polls closed.
