2012 Election Breakdown; Which States Did President Obama Win?

Millions of votes are still to be counted, but virtually all major media outlets are calling the election for incumbent President Barack Obama.

Numerous swing states can be credited with securing an Obama victory, although it was the media’s call in Ohio that officially put him over the required 270. Projections currently attribute at least 303 electoral votes to Obama, and it is expected he will win several more states.

As of right now, Obama has, according to media declaration, claimed the following:

California
Delaware
Hawaii
Washington, DC
Minnesota
Illinois
Iowa
Maine
Maryland
Massachusetts
Michigan
New Hampshire
New Jersey
New York
Connecticut
New Mexico
Ohio
Oregon
Pennsylvania
Rhode Island
Vermont
Washington
Wisconsin
Colorado
Nevada
Virginia

A call has not been made in Florida, but with Obama already over the 270 vote threshold, it will not matter. He will remain the president.
