Bruno Mars Confirmed as “SNL” Host, Passion Pit Makes Musical Debut

Bruno Mars will follow recent names like Taylor Swift, Elton John, Jennifer Lopez and Mick Jagger in pulling double duty on “Saturday Night Live,” confirmed NBC on Monday.

Mars will serve as host and musical guest on the October 20 edition of “SNL.” The multi-platinum singer/songwriter will perform tracks from his upcoming album “Unorthodox Jukebox.”

As has already been confirmed, Daniel Craig hosts with musical guest Muse on this Saturday’s show. Christina Applegate then hosts with critical darling band Passion Pit on the October 13 edition of the show.
