Though no longer a major factor in the WWE Divas title picture, she was often the company’s “go-to” performer when a women’s match of substance needed to be booked.
That role, too, will be coming to an end, however, as Beth Phoenix has given WWE notice of her desire to exit the promotion.
Since she is not expected to fully depart until the end of October, it is possible she will work some additional matches, but her request for release was indeed granted and she will soon be a “free agent” within the wrestling business.
