Backstage WWE Night of Champions News, Who Will Replace Lawler?

Although Jim Ross is also present at tonight’s WWE Night of Champions, John Bradshaw Layfield will be filling in for the recovering Jerry Lawler on commentary.

Ross theoretically could join the booth for a match or two, but JBL will indeed be the primary substitute.

Bradshaw had been involved in a Twitter tease about potentially returning to commentary full-time, so his getting the opportunity to announce tonight’s show–and possibly RAW this week–is hardly surprising.

WWE Night of Champions airs Sunday with John Cena vs. CM Punk in the main event.
