Jimmy Fallon Sets Up Pro Wrestling Comedy at NBC

Jimmy Fallon’s “Late Night” on NBC is a frequent destination for pro wrestling guests, and come next season, he could have another outlet for connecting with that segment.

Deadline reports that Fallon has setup a half-hour pro wrestling-themed sitcom “Slammed” at NBC. A workplace comedy set in that industry, “Slammed” will be executive-produced by Fallon and production partner Amy Ozols.

Fallon will also executive produce on an untitled hourlong project about the “wild, untamed hipsters of Brooklyn” for NBC and “Bad Seeds,” an “‘OC’ meets ‘Dexter'” hour about a group of teenagers who bring vigilante justice to bullies.
